Strong unit support includes PtCA's for EKGs, glucose checks, and line removal, Charge and Flex RNs, 24/7 Health Unit Coordinator, centralized telemetry monitoring, on-site STAT RN, RT, hospitalist, and intensivist, dedicated ICU pharmacist, IV therapy team, and a clinical coach/educator. Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, vent/trach and BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy and drain care, chest tube and lumbar drain management, and IV medication titration.
