Overview: Functions under the direction of the Registered Nurse, acts as assistive personnel to provide care to patients, some of the functions include customer service skills, obtaining vital sign, point of care testing, phlebotomy, EKG's and transportation of patients in the Emergency Department. • Formal training or equivalent experience, such as Nursing Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), preferred.
