Bring your career to new heights with a carpentry position with the Six Flags New England team!</p><p style="margin:0px"> </p><p style="margin:0px">Pay starting at $22.50/Hour</p><br/>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives</li><li>Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation</li><li>Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters</li><li>Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards</li><li>Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented</li><li>Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed</li><li>Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team</li><li>Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park</li></ul><br/>Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience as a Carpenter</li><li>Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety</li><li>Sense of fun</li><li>Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns</li><li>Willingness to work in a high performance team environment</li><li>18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license</li><li>Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, etc.</li></ul>
