Patrol Deputy duties include: protecting and assisting the public by responding to a variety of citizen complaints; responding to emergencies such as accidents, fires, domestics, fights, burglaries and alarms; performing routine traffic patrol and ensuring business and village security; assisting Detectives by performing investigative groundwork for illegal activity; performing a variety of routine paperwork and reports related to investigations, emergencies, accidents and arrests; providing court security, performing civil process, and transporting prisoners; and working with and assisting other agencies, emergency services and social services. Duties include: protecting and assisting the public by responding to a variety of calls or citizen complaints; responding to emergencies such as crashes, fires, domestic assaults, fights, burglaries, and alarms; assisting detectives by investigative groundwork for illegal activity; performing a variety of court duties, and paperwork; resolving conflict and mitigating civil disagreement.
