The employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The Fiber Splicer is a skilled telecommunications professional responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber optic networks in both aerial and underground outside plant (OSP) or inside plan (ISP) environments.
