Working closely with providers, nurses, and the clinical team, the Medical Assistant supports efficient patient flow, prepares rooms, obtains and documents clinical information, assists with patient education, maintains supplies, and supports patient care within the employee's training, competency, and lawful scope of practice. • Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, sharps, disinfectants, medications, and other clinical hazards; appropriate PPE and infection-control precautions are required.
