Working closely with faculty and the Interim Learning Specialist, the SI attends assigned classes, reinforces course concepts through individual and group tutoring sessions, facilitates supplemental instruction activities, and assists students in developing effective study strategies, time management skills, and academic confidence. The Supplemental Instructor (SI) supports student learning, academic achievement, and student engagement by providing peer-assisted instruction, tutoring, mentoring, and classroom support for designated courses.
