Successfully coordinates with physicians, employees and leadership to meet specialty-specific needs; to include, employee education, equipment/supply needs, and physician preferences. Works under the supervision of the OR Nurse Manager and the Clinical Director and is responsible for ensuring operational oversight of surgical cases and the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients.
