Work includes nebulizer treatments, airway management, Vapotherm, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilator management, ABG collection, bedside PFTs, and CPT; in the ICU, therapists place A-lines, manage blood gases, intubate, and perform bronchoscopies. The workload includes 550 minutes of treatment per shift, averaging 15 minutes per treatment and 13-15 patients per shift.
