The three major responsibilities consist of the following: 1) assisting nursing personnel in selected patient support services such as turning, lifting and transporting patients to and from the Cardiovascular Short Stay Unit, and 2) assisting nursing personnel in room set up & turnover, maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the Cardiovascular Short Stay Unit and peripheral areas, and 3) basic unit secretary duties including: clerical and receptionist duties, requisitioning supplies and equipment from other departments via order entry and chart preparation. Together, our 120,000 caregivers (all employees) serve in over 50 hospitals, over 1,000 clinics and a full range of health and social services across Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
