Required Qualifications: New York State Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, with an Associate Degree in Nursing considered for candidates with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program; at least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, including 2 years of post-open-heart and cardiac care unit experience; at least 1 year of travel experience for travel positions. Additional Information: Responsibilities include providing cardiovascular intensive care, applying the nursing process, managing patient assignments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, participating in quality improvement and nursing research activities, documenting care accurately, supporting patient throughput, and performing charge nurse duties as assigned.
