Our Grade Checkers are responsible for understanding plans and specs, layout of crew and project, providing clear direction for cut/fill, setting hubs and stakes, calculating percentages, volumes, areas, and production rates, accurately setting grade, set up sloping laser, shoot in building elevations, GPS set up & operation, operate within OSHA and DNT safety policies, and help to achieve project schedules. A qualified Grade Checker must have the ability to observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities to conform to stake references and communicate with equipment operators, supervision and management.
