The incumbent fulfills their organizational functions according to the Nursing Professional Development (NPD) roles of learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. Creates a learning environment by collaborating with practitioners, leaders, nurses, educators, providers, patient care staff, and unit management in providing continuing nursing education, quality education, and interprofessional education.
