Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required: Demonstrated hands-on mechanical skills through coursework and/or extracurricular activities; Currently pursuing a bachelor''s or graduate degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; Must be entering sophomore through graduate year of college; Ability to generate and/or execute test methods and protocols; Strong customer focus with both internal and external stakeholders; Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; Ability to independently develop ideas and solutions; Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented mindset, and demonstrated work ethic; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint; Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Preferred: Previous internship, co-op, laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering project experience; Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment; Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
