Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience conducting assign research, development, test, training, and evaluation programs as directed; Experience formulating long and short-range program plans for maintenance, development and improvement for Laboratory analytical capabilities to meet immediate and projected customer requirements; Experience in developing Division-wide operating budgets, training plans, and equipment procurement plans; Experience managing a technical laboratory, plan and direct professional scientific work, including research and development; Experience in Federal laws and guidelines pertaining to environmental analysis laboratory's third party accreditation requirements, statistical quality control methods and auditing. OR Combination of education and experience -- course work equivalent to a major as shown in A above, including at least 30 semester hours in chemistry, supplemented by mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and at least 6 semester hours of physics, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
