div class="flex max-w-full flex-col grow">The Chemistry Department currently has 21 faculty members serving over 100 undergraduate majors and supporting approximately 500 students per semester in undergraduate courses (https://www.unomaha.edu/college-of-arts-and-sciences/chemistry/index.php). The successful candidate will be teaching and grading up to four laboratory sections or lectures per semester, holding office hours, participating in weekly instructors' meetings, and performing assigned professional service activities.
Assist with research activities in the chemistry/nanotechnology laboratory, including nanoparticle synthesis, sample preparation, data collection, materials characterization, literature review, manuscript writing, preparation of figures and reports, and maintaining laboratory organization and safety protocols. Support undergraduate students and faculty in ongoing research projects related to nanomaterials, biosensors, biomedical applications, and/or computational work, including machine learning, with the goal of contributing to publications and presentations.
