JOB SUMMARY: The RN plans and implements nursing care for patients in the Med Surg Unit, according to established policies and procedures while performing direct patient care for patients of all age groups and under a wide variety of circumstances. Machinery or Equipment Used: Patient monitoring devices, cast removal saw, IV pumps, patient transport devices, needles/syringes, computer, basic office equipment, and other patient care equipment.
