Art: Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, Art Therapy/Counseling, Art Education with concentration in counseling or its equivalent from an CAAHEP-accredited program OR related mental health field and have completed additional graduate-level art therapy coursework per ATCB .

The roles of the Psychologist in the Child Acute Behavioral Health Unit at Oklahoma Childrens Hospital Behavioral Health Center include oversight of individualized consultation and assessment of behavioral interventions across the Child acute units, partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient program, as well as collaboration with a team of masters level Behavioral Health Consultants and supporting multi-disciplinary treatment teams. The Oklahoma Childrens Hospital Behavioral Health Center seeks psychologists experienced in Child acute behavioral health treatment to provide empirically supported assessment and treatment of children who present with serious mental illness, and complex behavioral problems in the context of acute psychiatry services.
The purpose of Psychologist Lead/Manager in the BHC is to demonstrate leadership in the areas of clinical service, research, and excellence in the provision of care for youth and families with serious behavioral health difficulties in the context of acute psychiatric care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment services. Roles include oversight of individualized consultation and assessment of behavioral interventions across the behavioral health center units, partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient program, as well as collaboration with a team of masters level Behavioral Health Consultants and supporting multi-disciplinary treatment teams.
Developing treatment plans and leading treatment teams using individual, group, expressive and family therapies and counseling, and determining need for psychiatric medication as necessary and appropriate at all levels of care. OU Health is seeking a full time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve in the Child Section of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DPBS) on the Clinical Educator track; at 90% clinical effort and 10% administration, education and research effort.

Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include oral, intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous medication administration (exclusive of narcotics) as directed by a physician or physician assistant. Provides direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor .
