If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee. Physical Requirements: This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training.
Group Teacher for infants/toddlers: • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field • AND • One year experience related to caring for infants and toddlers • OR • Infant and Toddler Child Care and Education credential; or • Infant Toddler Child Development Associate credential; or • Other Office-recognized credential specific to the infant/toddler developmental period • AND • Two years' experience related to caring for children • OR • 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan of study leading to: • Infant and Toddler Child Care and Education credential • Infant Toddler Child Development Associate credential • OR • Other office recognized credential specific to the infant/toddler developmental period • OR • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Child Development or a related field • AND • Two years' experience related to caring for children, one of which must be related to caring for infants and toddlers. Minimum Qualifications: • Teacher for preschoolers • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Development or related field • AND • no additional experience necessary • OR • Child Development Associate credential or other office recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period AND one year experience related to caring for children • OR • 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study leading to a: • Child Development Associate credential • Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field • AND • Two years experience related to caring for children.
