Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following: exposure to dirt, fumes, toxic materials, extreme temperatures, noise, vibrations and high work places; walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time; stooping, crawling, or crouching for performance of inspections, surveying and monitoring construction projects; pushing, pulling or lifting equipment or supplies used in surveying and inspecting construction. Under general supervision by the City Engineer, using comprehensive and broad knowledge of engineering concepts, principles and practices, evaluate complex engineering support functions and provide guidance and leadership to others as needed in a variety of engineering functions including researching, reviewing, analyzing and providing information to other team members.
