The Development Engineering Group's main focus is facilitating development via engineering plan review for residential subdivisions and commercial site development, attending Development Review Committee meetings, conducting meetings with consultants, engineers, property owners and residents, planning public infrastructure systems (including water, wastewater, drainage and street systems), and supporting the Planning Department during entitlement requests and cases. Provide technical expertise, guidance, and instruction to developers, consultant engineers, staff, and the general public on water, wastewater, drainage regulations, Floodplain Prevention Ordinance and FEMA floodplain management practices and requirements.
