To provide administrative leadership and oversight to the Registrar and the Registrar's office and recommend, where appropriate, changes that assure an efficient registration/pre-registration process that recognizes students as customers who have a right to a speedy and efficient registration and to maintain the university's student records in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education's rules and regulations; To supervise the Director of Admission for the university and develop, implement, and monitor an admission process that admits a defined freshman student population that meets enrollment goals. To provide strong, effective leadership and creative vision for the development, modification, implementation, and monitoring of the policies, plans, and procedures for strategic recruitment, enrollment, and retention of a diverse, multi-cultural student body; To develop, manage, and maintain an effective marketing and recruitment strategy that identifies and addresses the university's niche in the educational arena in full compliance with the mission and goals of the university.
