MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of electrochemistry, battery materials, and electrochemical testing methods; ability to fabricate and assemble battery cells (e.g., coin, pouch, cylindrical) and conduct cycling and diagnostic tests; knowledge of chemo-mechanics and coupled electrochemical-mechanical phenomena in electrodes and active particles; ability to design and execute experiments, including optical or in situ characterization techniques for deformation measurements; ability to analyze and interpret experimental data and develop physics-based models (e.g., porous electrode theory and single-particle models); and familiarity with computational tools for data analysis and/or simulation. With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
