Ensure materials are delivered to the jobsite before needed • Make local pickup before the material is needed on site • Orders local materials well in advance • Returns materials promptly and ensures the refund is tracked in the construction software Qualifications: • Experience: Construction: 1 year (Required) • Ability to Commute: Greensboro, NC 27401 (Required) Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job • The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time, and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions • The Material Procurement Manager lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints, or throws objects • The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multilimb coordination • The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs • The Material Procurement Manager must have excellent stamina Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly. • Know where everything job and shop-related is • Perform inventory on schedule and replenish as needed • Store materials correctly in the warehouse (labeled, stored in the right place, stored safely • Vehicles are kept properly stocked and clean, and annual maintenance is performed • Trailers are maintained and in proper working order • Equipment is tracked correctly and kept in good condition • Track vehicle maintenance and get it done as needed (oil changes, washing, tires, etc.)Jobsite Set Up, Organization, & CleanlinessThis is a continual effort.
