Works with Unit Staff and support teams Medical Social Worker (MSW), Clinical Documentation (CDI), etc.) to progress each patient's care toward discharge, and to ensure patient status (anticipated transfers, discharges, location and patient alerts) is accurately reflected in the system. The position (Unit C3) will act as the primary liaison between emergency and surgical services, nursing, behavioral health, finance, physicians, utilization review to ensure appropriate bed is assigned, patient care needs are met and treatment plans executed at the appropriate levels.
