These include, but are not limited, to the following patient groups: Acute MIs, Heart Failure, Pulmonary Edema, Transcatheter Aortic Valve replacement (TAVR) Arrhythmias, Post-open-heart surgery (OHS), post endovascular procedures, post cardiac catheterization patients, s/p pacemaker and ICD insertion, Valvular Heart Disease, and medical/surgical overflow. The Clinical Nurse 2 Colleague demonstrates within the competency domains of Continuous Quality Improvement, Evidence Based Practice and Research, Leadership, Person and Family Centered Care, Professionalism, Safety, Technology/Informatics, and Teamwork (Definitions listed below).
