Infusion Nurses partner closely with Oncology Providers and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, Pharmacists, Navigators and multidisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment, provide patient and family education, ensure safe efficient, and compassionate delivery of care in the outpatient setting. Infusion Center is a specialized outpatient setting where patients receive intravenous (IV), subcutaneous, and other infusion-based therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, hydration and supportive medications for oncology, hematologic, and other complex medical conditions.
