A typical way to acquire the required knowledge and abilities would be: Equivalent of a bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, public health administration or a closely related field relevant to the assignment and; Five (5) years of journey-level behavioral or public health administration experience that includes policy development, budget management, contract administration, and grant administration that includes at least two (2) years as a supervisor or manager. The Clinical Training Manager directs multiple functional units, manages training requirements across the system of care, and serves as a key liaison with internal and external partners including educational institutions, professional trainers, continuing education and licensing bodies, and other county and statewide behavioral health agencies.
