This role collaborates with nursing leadership, physicians, MedStar transfer center, emergency departments, perioperative services, environmental services, and hospital-based Transport Departments to optimize patient throughput, ensure appropriate placement based on clinical needs, and maximize bed capacity. In this role, the Clinical Bed Coordinator will support patient flow and capacity management across the four Baltimore hospitals by coordinating patient placement activities, collaborating with operational and clinical teams, and identifying opportunities to improve throughput and patient access.
