The Infusion Room Team Lead ensures safe, timely, and efficient chemotherapy administration by performing chemotherapy checks, managing scheduling and throughput, supporting staffing needs, and serving as a central clinical resource for providers, schedulers, and nursing staff. The Inpatient Registered Nurse Infusion Room Team Lead is an engaged and credentialed member of the Professional Nursing Organization and is responsible for autonomous practice directed by the professional tenets of practitioner, leader/decision maker, scientist and transferor.
