Responsibilities: Caring for stroke, CHF, PNA, sepsis, COPD, PE, AKI, and other acute conditions; managing titratable drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nicardipine, Dobutamine; performing patient assessments; reading strips and utilizing telemetry systems; participating in self-scheduling and floating to other units as needed; completing orientation over 3 shifts. Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting; valid license to submit; must pass an open book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation.
