p>In addition to inpatient support, the Resource Nurse flexibly assists the Emergency Department, Birthing Center, and Surgical Services during periods of lower census, providing critical care support, triage, behavioral health, safety coverage, postpartum overflow, and response to high-acuity events. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM), this role ensures safe and efficient patient care by supporting inpatient units with patient assignments, admissions, discharges, high-acuity care, break coverage, and patient flow.
