Nature and Scope: This position is responsible for quickly and accurately assessing the condition of the patient presenting at the clinic, to ensure proper handling of controlled medications maintained within the clinic, to administer medications as ordered by the clinic providers in accordance with established policies, to generally oversee patient care in order to maintain continuity and to provide prompt triaging and appropriate processing of all patients presenting for evaluation and/or treatment, this will include--but not be limited to--carrying out the providers orders for care, making referral arrangements, and doing call-backs on previous patients. Computer / Typing: Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days,the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
