In addition to senior technician responsibilities, this role supports the Healthcare Technology Management / Biomedical Engineering program through timely CMMS/AIMS documentation, work order follow-up, equipment record accuracy, preventive maintenance documentation, regulatory readiness, safe equipment practices, and professional communication with clinical departments, Facilities, Finance, vendors, and supported sites. The Biomedical Equipment Technician III (BMET III) is a senior-level technical position responsible for independently performing advanced preventive maintenance, safety inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, equipment support, clinical user support, and accurate service documentation for complex, high-risk, and integrated medical equipment and systems with minimal supervision.
