This may include: • Oversee acquisition, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of clean room equipment, including space planning and vendor partnerships • Oversee facility and infrastructure needs and changes, including power, water, and gases • Oversee scheduling and access management to ensure appropriate use of the facility • Coordinate cleanroom activities and provide support for research and instructional activities utilizing the cleanroom • Serve as primary liaison with Environmental Health and Safety and other regulatory bodies • Provide documentation including safety audits and operational metrics • Monitor inventory and coordinate procurement and disposal of supplies and consumables • Develop materials and device fabrication process • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses, with an emphasis on materials and device physics, growth, fabrication, and characterization • Participate in research and teaching using the cleanroom equipment Some additional service to Department, College, University, and/or professional community may be expected.
