The program provides specialized care for children and adolescents with serious illnesses, including genetic disorders, cancer, prematurity, neurologic disorders, heart and lung conditions, as well as adults treated through the Pediatric and Adult Burn Unit. In this role, the psychologist will evaluate and treat behavioral sleep concerns including insomnia, nightmare disorders, nighttime fears, nighttime fears, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and concerns with sleep quality (e.g., compliance for treatment of sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome).
