According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and under the general supervision of the Director of Operations- Advance Practice, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing nursing care services to residents/clients as assigned, making observations on an advanced level, forming nursing judgments, carrying out nursing actions based upon understanding of the scientific principles involved, reporting and recording observations appropriately. Manages care of clients; develops plan of treatment and/or follow-up and monitors progress, determines when referral to another provider is necessary, makes necessary arrangements for further care, determines when hospital admission or emergency room visit is necessary, and determines when illness is resolved.
