EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required, or certification as a Histotechnologist or Cytotecnologist by a recognized agency preferred. GENERAL SUMMARY: Plans, manages, coordinates and supervises the activities of a section (s) of the clinical laboratory, such as Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Service, Microbiology, Histology/Cytology, POCT, Phlebotomy, Processing, Laboratory Information and School(s) of Medical Technology including all shifts and hours.
