Responsible for managing daily operations of complex histological and cytological tests and procedures on tissue samples (QA/QC, equipment maintenance, workflow, service levels, operational oversight, workspace), staff (first level supervision, scheduling, coaching, staff development, CD, etc.) and performing analysis within the regulatory requirements for cytology and/or histology. Act as a liaison between the histology laboratory staff and various functional groups including, but not limited to, customer service, analytical laboratory, process and service engineering, information technology, human resources, and materials management groups.
