Performs transfusion services functions, as applicable, including: ABO and Rh typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching entering results accurately into computer; routine antibody identification, and antigen screening; emergency blood release; antibody elutions and adsorptions; irradiates blood; modifies component in computer and verifies label before issue; works-up suspected transfusion reactions and enters appropriate orders and results into computer.
