The Field Supervisor provides mentoring to developing the dispositions, knowledge and skills required of a novice teacher, oversees the timely completion and collection of Texas Education Agency and program-required documentation, conducts regular meetings with candidates and field-based district personnel as required, and works collaboratively as the liaison across partner school districts, cooperating teachers, campus leadership, and the COE Clinical Experiences Director. The UNT System includes the University of North Texas in Denton and Frisco, the University of North Texas at Dallas and UNT Dallas College of Law, and University of North Texas Health at Fort Worth.
