Their main duties include ensuring inventory counts are accurate and up to date, logging all inventory movements in an organized spreadsheet or computer system, flagging shortages to Purchasing, partnering with Manufacturing to expedite delivery of materials, oversee an organized inventory location scheme, and ensuring that quantities of FGI, direct materials, and consumables are maintained at all times.
