Willingness to learn special procedures (i.e., gastric-tube management, inhalation therapy, emergency protocols, etc.).Participate in specialized training for individual student's health care needs (i.e., catheterization, insulin injections, feeding tube care, etc.).Perform other tasks that may be deemed appropriate and necessary by the supervisor. Position Summary: The Substitute Health Assistant provides temporary support in addressing the health needs of students and provides appropriate care for ill and/or injured students under the supervision of the school nurse.
