Patient population includes respiratory failure, sepsis, GIB, alcohol withdrawal, complicated surgeries, decompensating oncology, diabetic/renal complications, CHF, COPD, PNA, and comfort care patients. Unit supported by a free-floating charge nurse, resource nurse for day and night shifts, 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage, and day-shift OT/PT/ST support.
