Duties include but not limited to, bathing (bed, tub and/or sponge) shower; toiletry, grooming, shaving, dental care, dressing and eating proper nutrition, home management, light housekeeping, ambulation and transfer, taking vital signs, and arranging and accompanying client to the doctor, picking up prescriptions, documentation of client's food and liquid intake and output, medication reminders, change diaper, empty Foley catheter, basic first aid and CPR, range of motion, in-home emergencies, infection control, maintain Client's confidentiality and provide watchful oversight of the Client. The successful candidate must possess the following: a valid Certified Nurse's Aide certification for the State of Georgia; pass a competency assessment (written/practical); at least one (1) year of professional experience; two (2) professional references; CPR/First Aide certification(s); documentation for current TB test; maintain confidentiality; and.
