Required skills include vent and trach management, invasive line management (art lines, CVP, Swan-Ganz), drains, chest tubes, foley management, post-surgical recovery, post-cath experience, CVVH, and CRRT. The ICU unit consists of 17 beds and is supported by a robust team including CNAs, a charge nurse, a PM ICU supervisor, phlebotomy, an educator, respiratory therapy available 24/7, hospitalist coverage 24/7, intensivist coverage 24/7, and an ICU-specific pharmacist during daytime hours.
