Assisting residents with daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure they feel comfortable and cared for • Taking and recording vital signs and measuring intake and output • Collaborating with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members • Documenting resident care and maintaining accurate medical records • Assisting with ambulation and transporting residents • Serving trays and assisting with eating to ensure residents receive the proper nutrition they need • Changing bed linens to provide a clean and comfortable environment • Maintaining a restraint-free environment and supporting fall prevention programs • Participating in surveys and inspections, in-service classes, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and ensure youre providing the highest quality care possible • Completing appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies • Providing compassionate post-mortem care as needed to support our residents and their loved ones. • Active Virginia CNA license • Adherence to our Five Behaviors: I learn, I care, I energize, I include, I engage • Completed CNA training (required) with at least six months of experience in long-term care (preferred) • Current Adult CPR and First Aid certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (polished, patient, courteous) • Basic computer, math, and problem-solving skills • Punctual and able to work the full established schedule.
