The selected individual must have a strong background in not just the development of efficient tool paths to support G-Code generation, but must have at least 4 years of experience working as a machinist in a high-mix, low-volume job shop environment and be capable of independently selecting appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, speeds, feeds, etc. Thorough knowledge of machining data (i.e. speeds, feeds, tooling) for cutting a variety of materials (Steels, Stainless Steels, Monel, K-Monel, Inconel, Bronze, Titanium, etc.).Determine the optimal sequence of operations, select appropriate cutting tools and calculate speeds/feeds for various materials.
