POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge•Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.•Knowledge of machines and tools, including who to communicate with regarding their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.•Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the safety of people, property, and Sioux Manufacturing.•Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and their applications.•Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.•Knowledge to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts to improve your skills and/or department processes.•Knowledge to develop constructive and working relationships with others to cooperatively work together and achieve quality products timely and support positive interactions over time. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES•Learn to check machine oil systems.•Empty shop vacuum and clean or change filters.•Clean machine (wipe down and remove material chips and dust).•Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.•Give full attention to what other people are saying, take time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.•Monitor your performance, other individuals, and/or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
