Key Responsibilities:Supervise, lead, and schedule the sanitation team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficientlyDevelop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation plansEnsure compliance with GMP, HACCP, USDA/FDA, and OSHA regulations and company policiesConduct inspections of production areas, equipment, and facility to verify cleanliness and sanitation effectivenessTrain, coach, and evaluate sanitation employees on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety protocolsMaintain accurate sanitation records, logs, and compliance documentationCoordinate sanitation activities with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments to minimize downtimeMonitor inventory of sanitation chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment; order replacements as neededInvestigate sanitation-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actionsPromote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policiesParticipate in food safety inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesJob Requirements:Previous supervisory experience in sanitation within a food manufacturing or food processing environment preferredStrong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, USDA/FDA, and OSHA regulationsExperience developing sanitation schedules and managing sanitation programsLeadership, coaching, and employee training experienceKnowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning equipment, and safe handling proceduresStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and compliance documentationBilingual in Spanish and English requiredAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed. This role oversees sanitation schedules, employee training, inspections, documentation, and coordination with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to support safe and efficient operations.
